Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, commonly known as NAPO and Vice Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has asserted that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) cannot effectively manage Ghana's education sector.
During recent statements, he expressed concerns over the state of educational infrastructure in the country, highlighting the lack of significant transformation during the NDC's eight years in power.
NAPO pointed out that despite the NDC's promises to construct 200 E-Blocks to enhance educational access and facilities, only 28 were completed.
This shortfall, he argued, reflects the NDC's inability to deliver on its commitments and raise the standard of education in Ghana.
He urged Ghanaians to consider the track record of the NPP in managing the education sector, suggesting that the party is better equipped to bring about the necessary changes and improvements.
“The NDC delivered only 28 E-Blocks out of the 200 in total that they promised Ghanaians. The E-Block was the NDC’s flagship policy at the time, but despite the noise they made about the E-Block, they shockingly failed woefully to deliver on their promises."
“After eight years in political office, the NDC only delivered a paltry 28 E-Blocks, but they used propaganda, as usual, to bloat the figure,” he stated.
