The ladies from Mfantsiman Girls SHS are back in the spotlight, kicking out West Africa SHS and Zion College to secure their spot in the one-eighth stage of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ).
After leading the first two rounds, they faced a bumpy ride in the middle but emerged victorious by the end, proving their comeback was no fluke.
In the opening rounds, Mfantsiman came out swinging, confidently taking the lead with sharp answers that had the audience buzzing.

Their competitors, Zion College and West Africa SHS, struggled to keep pace as Mfantsiman stayed ahead.
However, the tide briefly shifted during the Problem of the Day round, where Zion College came roaring back, scoring higher and making the contest anyone’s game.

But the final round, the famous riddle round, had some surprises. West Africa SHS showed up strong, solving riddles like they had been doing all day.
Yet, just when it seemed the competition was getting tighter, Mfantsiman Girls stepped up once again, sealing their victory in style.

The ladies from Saltpond didn’t just hold their own, they owned the stage, knocking their competitors out of the race and cruising into the one-eighth stage.
Looks like Mfantsiman’s long hiatus only made them hungrier for glory.
