Karela United will look to bounce back from their last defeat when they host Heart of Lions in their Ghana Premier League on Sunday, October 20, at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
Karela fell to a 1-0 defeat to Basake Holy Stars in their last league game last weekend while Lions were held to a goalless draw against Vision FC.
Karela have had a troubling start to the 2024/25 season as they have won just one of their opening six games while suffering three defeats (2 draws).
Lions, on the other hand, have drawn five of their games while also picking up one win in that period. They are one of six teams that are yet to taste defeat in the top flight this campaign.
As things stand, Karela are in the relegation zone having picked up just five points from their opening six games. They have also conceded five goals while scoring four.
While playing as the home side this season, Karela have yet to win a game in three attempts; losing one and drawing two.
Lions have drawn all of their three away game this campaign and Bashir Hayford's men would look to pick up their first three points on the road this season against Karela.
The fixture is scheduled for 3 PM kickoff.
