Members of Ladies Network for Dr Bawumia in the Akan Constituency of the Oti Region have been charged to connect well to garner enough votes during the December 7 polls.
Abigail Obenewah, President of Ladies Network for Dr Bawumia, Oti Region, told the women “to connect to the right signal” for the Party to secure enough votes in the Oti region for a resounding victory come December 7.
She advised them to eschew complacency but rather engage in house-to-house and bed-to-bed campaigns for a one-touch victory for the Party.
Hajia Murjanet Ibrahim, an Aide to the Second Lady, Mrs. Samira Bawumia, said “It’s Christians who brought Dr. Bawumia, so if Muslims refused to endorse him, then it will be their own loss.
She, therefore, urged Muslims to turn out in their numbers and cast their votes for their own brother, Dr Bawumia come December 7.
Maxwell Kofi Asiedu, former District Chief Executive for Kadjebi, asked the NPP supporters to convert NDC members to the Party by telling them about the good works of the NPP government.
He said the introduction of the Free Senior High School (FSHS) policy, and Agenda 111 Hospital projects, among others, should be explained to their opponents for them to be convinced to join the Party.
Mr Asiedu said though victory was assured, they could not win without others voting for the Party.
Ladies Network for Dr Bawumia is a campaign group canvassing votes for the NPP Presidential candidate, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia.
Jonathan Akpabey Manu, Oti Regional Secretary, NPP sworn in the members.
