The NPP is the only political party, which is capable of initiating policies and programmes that can transform Ghana.
Mr Simon Osei Mensah, Ashanti Regional Minister, who stated said the achievements of the current government led by Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr Mahamudu Bawunmia, were a testament to the commitment of the party to put the country on a sustained development path that would improve the living conditions of the people.
Addressing a cross section of residents in the Ashanti region in Kumasi to highlight some of the achievements of the government, Mr Osei Mensah pointed out that, the remarkable performance of Nana Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration was unparalleled and these were evident in the extensive infrastructural development and growth within the region.
He outlined the government’s accomplishments, emphasizing the significant improvement in the road network throughout the region, and said Asanteman had had exceptional development under the current administration.
On the health sector, the Regional Minister said most of the health facilities, which were abandoned by the previous administration had been completed while those initiated by the government would also be inaugurated soon.
He mentioned the Kumawu, Formena and Afari military hospitals and said all of them had been completed by the Nana Addo-led government and were scheduled for inauguration by the end of the year.
Furthermore, the construction of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Maternity block and Bekwai Hospital were still in progress and nearing completion.
The Minister said there had been a tremendous improvement in all sectors such as security, healthcare, road infrastructure, agriculture, and education.
Mr Osei Mensah urged Ghanaians, particularly the people of Asanteman, to recognize the importance of voting for the NPP and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to sustain their mandate and successfully conclude the commendable initiatives which were ongoing.
