Mawuli Wayo bagged a brace as Accra Hearts of Oak progressed to the next stage of the MTN FA Cup, with a 4-0 win over Immigration FC.
After a tough first half, the Phobians finally found the breakthrough, when Martin Karikari beautifully dummied his marker and slotted home.
Wayo then added two goals in the space of 5 minutes, before Stephen Appiah Asare completed the thrashing with a goal, five minutes to time.
Elsewhere, Asante Kotoko were made to work hard for their 2-0 win over Future Stars.
In form, Albert Amoah opened the scoring in the 68th minute and added his and Kotoko’s second in the 86th minute to see off the stubborn Division One League side.

There wasn’t much joy for defending Ghana Premier league champions, Samartex, who were dumped out of the competition at the hands of current league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars.

Frimpong Manso’s men marched on into the round of 32 with a hard fought 2-0 win at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena.
Friday night also saw an upset, when struggling Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities, lost at home against Home Stars FC.
