Bibiani Gold Stars have enjoyed an impressive start to the 2024/2025 Ghana football season.
The Miners currently sit on top of the Ghana Premier League table, with five games to the end of the first round.
Frimpong Manso’s side also progressed to the round of 32 stage in the MTN FA Cup, with a hard fought victory over defending league champions Samartex.
The Gold Stars boss is positive about his side’s chances of continuing their good form in subsequent weeks.
”It is our hope to reach the semifinals but it will be difficult,” Frimpong Manso disclosed.
”The FA Cup can be difficult sometimes because any team can cause an upset.
”Lower league teams come into games believing they can cause an upset, so we need to be focused,” he added.
Ghana football is on a one week break due to the December 7 general elections, and Gold Stars will face off against Karela United when the league resumes on December 13.
