Prosper Narteh Ogum has made a plea to fans of Asante Kotoko to come to the stadium in their numbers for subsequent home games.
According to the Kotoko head coach, the fans made the difference over the weekend in their win over Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Albert Amoah scored a last-ditched winner on Sunday, December 15, to break the hearts of the Phobians and hand the Porcupine Warriors all three points. The forward had a goal rightly ruled out for being offside before his strike in the second half.
Speaking to SuperSport Blitz after the game, Ogum lauded the home fans for their support throughout the game.
"It's been amazing. For today, they didn't rant at us. Even when we made mistakes, they were with us and I think that all that I can say is that 'I thank them on behalf of the technical staff and the playing body," he said.
"They should come in their numbers so we can use them as the 12th player anytime we are playing at home."
The fixture was Kotoko's first league game at the Baba Yara Stadium since September with the win now taking them into sixth place on the league table.
