A young man has been arrested for vandalising several cars and other property on the premises of Parliament in Accra.
The suspect, dressed in white clothing, reportedly smashed the windscreens and windows of about seven vehicles parked in front of the parliamentary buildings.

Eyewitness accounts suggest the man appeared to be mentally impaired, though his exact motive remains unclear.

"Daddy don't kill them. Daddy don't destroy my people," he was heard shouting as he was whisked away while looking up to the sky.
Police officers on duty intervened, apprehending the suspect to prevent further damage.
Authorities are yet to release a statement on the incident.
