Ghanaian duo Christiana Ashiaku and Latifa Musah received top prizes at the end of the 2024 WAFU B U-17 Girls' Cup tournament staged in Prampram.
The two players were instrumental for the Black Maidens who beat Nigeria on penalties in the final to win gold and become the first country to win the tournament.
Rootz Sistaz's Christiana finished as the competition's top scorer after netting six goals in four games.
The midfielder scored two hattricks to ensure she finished with more goals than anyone in the tournament, propelling Ghana to a podium finish.
She scored three goals in the opening game against Benin at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence before betting three times again in the semifinal victory over Cote d'Ivoire.
Latifa also starred for Joe Nana Adarkwa's side throughout the tournament delivering impressive performances en route to success.

At the end of the tournament, she was named the Best Player while Nigeria's Christiana Uzoma won the Best Goalkeeper award.
