Karela United dropped points at home after a 1-1 draw with Vision FC on Sunday.
Both teams started strongly, battling for an early breakthrough.
However, Vision FC’s Joshua Kwame Rhule broke the deadlock in added time of the first half (45+2 minutes), giving the visitors a crucial lead.
After the break, Karela United came out determined to overturn the deficit.
Despite creating several chances, Vision FC's defense held firm.
The breakthrough for Karela United finally came in the 80th minute when Jibril Nurudeen found the back of the net, securing a much-needed equalizer.
The result leaves Karela United in 13th place on the league standings with 14 points, while Vision FC sits just above them in 12th place with 16 points as they head into the new year.
