Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has heaped praise on his team following their commanding 4-1 victory over Vision FC in the Ghana Premier League.
Kwame Opoku’s first-half brace, coupled with goals from Dauda Saaka and Peter Amidu, secured the Porcupines’ biggest win of the season.
Speaking at the post-match interview, Ogum expressed satisfaction with his players for successfully implementing their training routines during the game.
“We saw a lot of offensive patterns of play which are a replica of what we have been doing at training and that invariably tells us that they’re transferring what we do at training into the game and they were doing them with ease, leading to the creation of a lot of chances,” he said.
However, Ogum emphasised the need for better composure, particularly in the final third of the pitch.
“For probably lack of composure in some of the situations, I think the score would have been another launch of goals,” he added.
Kotoko now occupy third place on the league table with 31 points.
