The final funeral rites for veteran actor Albert Odartei Jackson-Davis will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025.
The body will be laid in stage on Thursday January 24, 2025, at 6pm in his family house in James Town, near Mantse Agbonaa.
The burial service will be held on Friday January 24, 2025 at the Cathedral Church of The Most Holy Trinity, John Atta Mills High Street in Accra. There will be a private burial after that.
Jackson passed away in September 2024 after battling an undisclosed illness.
Jackson-Davis in known for roles in films such as Heritage Africa, The Storm and My Very Ghanaian Wedding.
In the 1990s, he served as the Deputy Executive Director for PANAFEST, the Pan African Historical Theatre Festival.
