The First Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) USA, James Owusu, has called on Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to continue his leadership in shaping Ghana’s future.
Speaking on behalf of the party’s diaspora branch, Mr Owusu emphasised that Dr Bawumia’s expertise and vision remained crucial for the nation’s progress.
His statement followed Dr Bawumia’s address at Harvard University on Saturday, February 15, where the former Vice President of Ghana spoke about economic transformation and digital innovation.
Acknowledging the strides made during Dr Bawumia’s tenure, Mr Owusu highlighted the importance of continuity in leadership to sustain the gains achieved.
“Your journey is far from over, and your leadership is needed now more than ever,” Mr Owusu declared.
He stressed that, despite challenges and political opposition, Dr Bawumia’s policies had laid a strong foundation for economic growth and governance reforms.
The NPP USA leadership reaffirmed its unwavering support for Dr Bawumia, urging him to remain steadfast in his commitment to Ghana’s development.
They expressed confidence that his contributions would continue to shape the country’s future and inspire the next generation of leaders.
