Swiss Super League side FC Basel have completed the signing of Ghanaian youngster Daniel Theophilus Asiedu.
The 20-year-old joins the league on a one-year deal with the option to extend for another three years from Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea.
Asiedu, who plays as a centre-back, has featured for the Black Starlets and Black Satellites in the past as part of his national team commitments.
The youngster had been on trials with the club before ending the program in January last year.
However, a deal to sign him was put on hold after an old cruciate ligament rupture was diagnosed that had not healed optimally.
Asiedu will be the latest Ghanaian to join the club after Emmanuel Essiam and Jonas Adjei Adjetey.
