The Ghana Football Association’s Club Licensing Department has approved five venues after their latest re-inspection ahead of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) resumption.
They include TNA Stadium, Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Dun's Park Bibiani, Nsekyire Sports Arena, and the Kpando Sports Stadium.
These match centers are deemed fit, with an even playing field and a secure safety zone, to host matches.
Meanwhile, the Nii Adjei Kraku Park, Tuba Astro Turf, Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, and Nana Agyemang Badu Park have been granted conditional approval to fix concerning issues.
The Baba Yara Stadium, home of Asante Kotoko, and the Legon Stadium, which serves as a temporary ground for Hearts of Oak and Legon Cities, must address their safety zone before their next official match.
Elsewhere, the Wenchi Sports Stadium, Ampanian Arena, and Berekum Golden City Park have both technical and security challenges that require repairs and renovations and, as such, have not been approved.
The next re-inspection is slated for March 9.
