Medeama SC secured all three points against Basake Holy Stars at the Tarkwa T&A Stadium on Tuesday, April 1, in Gameweek 21 of the Ghana Premier League.
The visitors took the lead in the 28th minute through Issah Yakubu, giving Holy Stars an early advantage.
Medeama pushed for an equalizer, but the visitors remained resolute in defense and showed strong teamwork.
Just before halftime, in the 45+3rd minute, wing-back Kamaradini Mamudu restored parity for the home side, making it 1-1.
The second half saw both teams display quality football, with Medeama dominating possession and applying continuous pressure.
Their attacking efforts won them a penalty in the 85th minute, but they failed to convert, keeping the score level at 1-1.
However, their relentless pressure paid off in the 89th minute when Derrick Forjour found the back of the net with a late winner, sealing a 2-1 victory for Medeama.
