Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Benjamin Asare, attributed his team's 1-0 win over Medeama SC to their determination and focus despite their recent struggles.
Asare returned between the sticks as Hearts beat Medeama by 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Speaking after the game, Asare revealed his team's confidence heading towards this game
"We had determination coming into this game after our defeat on Thursday," he said.
"We knew we had to grab all three points in this game. We thank God for this victory, and also our fans and everyone who came to support us.
"Football is like that, you can lose or you can draw, anything can happen in football. Definitely, while you play and you don't win, you are not happy. The players always have the mindset of winning, so our focus is always there," he added.
Hearts returned to winning ways after three defeats in their last five matches. Asare has now kept 13 clean sheets for Hearts of Oak this season.
His impressive performance earned him a maiden call-up to the Black Stars during the March international break.
