The Chiefs and people of Fiaxor of Anlo in the Volta region have extended their warm congratulations to Sandra Kpedor following her appointment and election as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Anloga Municipality.
In a press release dated Monday, 14th April 2025, the community expressed pride in her historic achievement, highlighting her as the first female to hold the position of MCE in Anloga.
This milestone, they said, is not only significant for the Anloga Municipality but also for the entire nation, as it breaks down gender barriers and demonstrates the immense potential of women in leadership roles.
The statement from the Chiefs and people of Fiaxor praised Madam Kpedor’s appointment as a testament to the progress that can be made when women are given equal opportunities to contribute to national development.
They expressed full confidence in her ability to lead Anloga into a new era of growth and development across key sectors such as roads, education, healthcare, and agriculture.
"We are confident that her leadership will usher in a new era of progress, ensuring that the people of Anloga Municipality receive their fair share of national development," said the chairman of Fiaxor Youth Association, Major Rtd Paul Korku Amegah.
The community also conveyed their best wishes for her success in her tenure as MCE and prayed that she would be guided by wisdom and strength in bringing her vision for the municipality to life.
