Basake Holy Stars secured a crucial 1-0 win over Vision FC at the Ampain AAK II Sports Arena today.
The only goal scored by Dacosta Aboagye in the 36th minute, proved to be the decisive factor in the game.
The victory marked a much-needed boost for Holy Stars, who had been struggling in their recent form with only one win in their last five league matches.
Despite their inconsistent form, Holy Stars have shown strength at their home ground this season, being the seventh-best performing team in the league at home.
The win was crucial for Holy Stars as they looked to climb the league table. However, despite the victory, they still remain in 12th place with 33 points from 27 matches.
Vision FC, on the other hand, dropped to 15th place after the loss, now sitting with 29 points from 27 matches.
The victory proved to be significant for Holy Stars, and they will look to build on this momentum in their upcoming fixtures.
With regards to Vision FC, this emphasises the need to improve their away form if they want to climb up the league table to avoid relegation.
