There was a late comeback at the Wenchi Stadium as Young Apostles came from a goal down to win against Berekum Chelsea.
The home side scored two goals in added time to turn the game around against Chelsea as they bounced back to winning ways with a 2-1 victory.
Chelsea took an early lead through Kwesi Badori, who opened the scoring after just 14 minutes.
That lead grew the visitor’s confidence in the game as they continued to push the ball to Young Apostles.
Despite being on the receiving end, the home side also came close to scoring on a few occasions before the break.
However, they failed to make the opportunities count as they went into the break on the back foot.
After the break, it was the turn of Young Apostles to take the game to Chelsea.
But their equaliser wouldn’t come until the 90th minute when Issah Huseine scored the home side’s first goal.
One minute later, Young Apostles were ahead, and this time, it was Emmanuel Fosu Kyei who scored to make it 2-1, grabbing all three points for the home side.
The win sees them maintain their 12th position on the league table, four points above the relegation zone.
