Asante Kotoko have completed their third signing ahead of next season, securing the services of forward Johnson Oppong.
The attacker has signed a two-year deal following spells with various Ghanaian clubs and stints in Europe.
Kotoko describe Oppong as “a quick and dynamic winger,” joining the squad as they prepare for their return to the CAF Confederation Cup after a two-year absence from continental football.

He becomes the latest addition after the acquisitions of left-back Francis Acquah from Bechem United and midfielder Hubert Gyau from Berekum Chelsea.
Kotoko finished third in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season but capped off their campaign with an FA Cup triumph, a win that secured their spot in next season’s CAF inter-club competition.
Meanwhile, various players have left the club on mutual consent including goalkeeper Frederick Asare, Daniel Adrian Adjetey, Kwasi Asante, Samuel Tenadu, and Sampson Eduku.
