Former President Nana Akufo-Addo has pleaded with the family of deceased highlife musician Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, not to be excluded from the funeral arrangements.
The former President noted that the highlife legend helped him win the mandate of Ghanaians to govern the country.
Nana Akufo-Addo said this when he paid a visit to the family of the late highlife legend on Friday, August 1, 2025, to extend his sympathy.
“I came here to sympathise with you and the loss of your royal. I cannot forget what he has done for me. Today, my name is everywhere in Ghana because of him and the work he did,” he said.
The former President also noted that he will be very pained if he is not part of the funeral arrangement, because he really wants to show his appreciation.
