Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Haruna Mohammed, has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of engaging in vote-buying during the Akwatia by-election on Tuesday, September 2.
Speaking on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show on Wednesday, September 3, he said he personally witnessed the act, confronted those involved, and reported the matter to the police commander at Apinamang LA JHS.
According to him, although the NDC denied the allegations, they “exposed themselves” by admitting that the incidents in Akwatia were minor compared to what occurred in Kumawu.
