The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the introduction of half-time flash interviews as a new feature for the upcoming 2025/2026 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season.
The interviews, which will mainly be conducted with Club Assistant Coaches, are designed to provide fans with instant tactical insights and reactions during the break for only live matches on Television.
This innovation reflects the GFA’s commitment to enhancing live match coverage and bringing supporters closer to the action.
To prepare clubs for this development, the GFA will organize capacity-building sessions aimed at equipping technical staff with the skills to effectively engage the media during these live segments.
By introducing half-time flash interviews, the GFA seeks to make the GPL viewing experience more interactive and engaging, while aligning local football with modern broadcasting practices.
