Hohoe United's quest for a first Ghana Premier League win was dealt a blow on Saturday, September 20, as they drew with Young Apostles.
The home side took the lead at the Hohoe Sports Stadium before the travelling side grabbed an equaliser to end the game 1-1.
The newly promoted side came into the game hoping to pick up all three points after their opening game of the season against Hearts of Oak last weekend.
They took a well-deserved lead right after both teams returned from recess, with Ganiu Abass scoring the team's first-ever goal in the league.
Hohoe United looked set to hold onto their lead, but they were pegged back in the 74th minute when Richard Opoku equalised for Young Apostles.
For the home side, it was their second point in the top flight after also holding Hearts in the opening game, while Young Apostles are only picking up their first point of the season, having suffered defeat in their first match of the campaign.
Hohoe's next game is against Vision FC, who are without a win after two games. Young Apostles also face Dreams FC in their next game.
