The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has announced that the country will experience varied weather conditions from tonight through Friday, September 26, with scattered rains, thunderstorms, and mist expected across several sectors.
Tonight (Sept. 24):
In a notice on Wednesday, GMet said most parts of the country will remain mostly cloudy. It said the coastline and areas slightly north of the coastline are expected to experience slight to moderate rains with or without thunderstorms. The middle, transition, and northern belts will see variable cloudiness with scattered thunderstorms and rain.
Thursday (Sept. 25):
GMet said early morning mist and fog patches are forecast across the coastal, middle, and transition belts. Conditions will remain mostly cloudy with slight to moderate rains expected along the coast and areas slightly north of the coastline. The middle, transition, and northern sectors will also record scattered thunderstorms and rain later in the day.
Friday (Sept. 26):
Mist and fog are expected in the early morning across most sectors. Sunny intervals will dominate afterward, but isolated rains and thunderstorms are likely, especially in the middle and northern parts of the country. Coastal areas will also see pockets of isolated rainfall and thunderstorms.
