The Independent Media Caucus for Development (IMCD), led by Nana Abeiku Baiden, has revealed that Dr. Bryan Acheampong is likely to push the upcoming NPP presidential primaries into a runoff if the election were held today.

According to the survey, 34,736 delegates across all 16 regions were sampled. Out of this number:
- 10,901 delegates (31%) said they would vote for former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
- 8,091 delegates (23%) pledged support for Dr. Bryan Achampong.
- 5,569 delegates (16%) expressed support for Kennedy Agyapong.
- 390 delegates (1.1%) said they would vote for Kwabena Agyei Agyapong.
- 128 delegates (0.3%) backed Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum.
- 9,657 delegates remain undecided.
IMCD concluded that none of the candidates is on course to cross the 50% threshold required to secure a first-round victory.
