Medeama Sporting Club will hoping to continue their impressive start to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season when they host Dreams Football Club on Friday evening.
With just one defeat in four games since the start of the new campaign, Ibrahim Tanko's side are in wonderland as they target another victory.
The Yellow and Mauve side will come up against Dreams FC who have had a troubling start to the new campaign under their new technical team.
Medeama's three wins this season have come against Young Apostles, Vision FC and Nations FC with two of them being at home. In that period, the Tarkwa-based side have scored a total of six goals while only conceding two.
Dreams FC have just one point from their opening four games, coming in the 1-1 stalemate against Vision FC in their last game. Prior to that, the Still Believe lads had lost their opening three games against Heart of Lions, Hearts of Oak and Young Apostles.
Winfred Dormon, despite the unpleasant start, is confident of upsetting Medeama in their own backyard on Friday.
Dreams last beat Medeama last season in November 2024, picking up a 1-0 win at home but they lost the reverse fixture 4-0 in Tarkwa.
A win for Medeama on Friday will take them to the top of the league table while Dreams could move out of the relegation zone with a win also.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 16:30 GMT.
