A star-studded lineup of Ghanaian musicians will share the stage at Shatta Wale’s birthday concert at the Blackstar Square on October 18, 2025.
Dubbed ‘ShattaFest 2025 x Shattabration: The King Calls’, the free event starts at 4:00 pm.
The dress code is white. The concert is slated to run until about 10:30 pm.
Shatta Wale, whose birthday falls on 17th October, says the concert is a way to deepen his bond with fans.
Already confirmed performers include Wendy Shay, Medikal, Tinny, JZyNo, Jupitar and Empress Gifty. Others include Kwame Yogot, Captan, Rashid Metal, Togyal Renner, Mandem Yopic, and Chuku Lion.
The concert will be hosted by Adom TV’s dynamic presenter, Sister Sandy.
Nigerian influencers Pellet and Big Jiggy are already in Accra for the programme.
Shatta Fest 2025 is powered by MoMo Fest (Mobile Money Ghana Limited) with support from Shaxi and Charterhouse.
Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., is one of Ghana’s most celebrated reggae-dancehall musicians.
He has a litany of hit songs including Dancehall King, My Level and Taking Over. His feature on Beyoncé’s Already elevated his brand to the world cementing his place as one of Ghana’s biggest music exports.
He has won a number of awards both locally and internationally and has cultivated a loyal fan base that supports his works with undying love.
In the meantime, Shatta Wale has submitted his song ‘Street Crown’ to the Recording Academy of the Grammy Awards, looking forward to a nomination in next year’s edition.
