The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua Frimpong, has marked his birthday with a charitable donation to the Missionaries of Charity New Life Home, continuing a tradition he has upheld for the past decade.
Speaking during the presentation, Kodua Frimpong said giving back has become an integral part of his life’s purpose.
"It is something that I’ve been doing for 10 years now. The only way I can show gratitude to God for blessing me with life and good health is to go to places where people are distressed and in need, to help in any way that I can," he noted.
Essential food items, including bags of rice, gari, beans and other provisions, were donated to the Home.
Staff of the home expressed appreciation to the NPP General Secretary for his continued support.
Beyond the charitable gesture, Kodua Frimpong also shared a message of hope and determination for the NPP following the party’s defeat in the most recent national elections.
According to him, the party has taken important lessons from the experience and is committed to rebuilding.
He highlighted that, for the first time in the party’s history, the NPP will be conducting its presidential election before other internal elections, describing the move as part of broader reforms inspired by lessons from past electoral outcomes.
Kodua Frimpong concluded by urging party supporters to remain optimistic as the NPP embarks on a renewed path aimed at strengthening internal structures and preparing for future political contests.
