Ghana head coach Otto Addo has admitted the "difficulties" in preparation following injuries to three players ahead of the international friendly against South Korea.
Addo called up 22 players, but only 19 are now available for the upcoming clash due to injuries to Abu Francis, Mohammed Salisu, and Antoine Semenyo.
Abu underwent successful surgery after fracturing two bones during the clash with Japan in the Kirin Cup.
Salisu and Semenyo have also left camp to return to their clubs after sustaining ligament sprain injuries.
“We were facing some difficulties through some injured players,” Addo said in a pre-match interview.
“It's also, to be honest, not so easy for us to get replacements because of visa issues. It's always not possible for us to get fast replacements. But we prepared very well.”
“We are looking forward to the match [on Tuesday]. The last time we met them was at the World Cup, where we won, but it was a very close match. We are happy to be here and happy to have this possibility to play against South Korea.”
Ghana face South Korea on November 18 to wrap up preparations for 2025 ahead of next year’s World Cup.
