The Ministry of Health has engaged the World Bank Implementation Support Mission for the Ghana COVID-19 Emergency Preparedness and Response Project and the Ghana Primary Health Care Investment Program for Results (PforR), reaffirming its commitment to strengthening collaboration and enhancing project delivery.
During the engagement, Health Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh expressed gratitude for the World Bank’s consistent technical support and guidance.
He said the mission presents an opportunity to take stock of ongoing work, identify gaps, and ensure that both projects continue to serve the needs of Ghanaians effectively.

The Minister assured the World Bank’s Task Team Leader of the Ministry’s full cooperation and commitment to ensuring a productive and successful engagement.
Mr Akandoh also urged all stakeholders to participate actively, stressing that their expertise and feedback are essential to achieving the mission’s goals.

The World Bank’s Team Lead commended the Ministry for its continued cooperation.
She stressed the importance of following established processes and maintaining open dialogue to ensure alignment on next steps.
She expressed confidence that continued collaboration would lead to stronger outcomes and improved implementation of the health projects.
