The Black Queens have risen five places in the latest FIFA rankings after an impressive run of form since August.
Ghana, who were previously ranked 67th, now sit 62nd in the world.
On the continent, the Queens are ranked third, behind champions Nigeria and South Africa.

Ghana secured qualification to the 2026 WAFCON with a 7–0 aggregate win over Egypt, with their only defeat in recent months coming in a friendly against fourth-ranked England earlier in December.
The Black Queens will now shift focus to preparations for the continental tournament, scheduled for 17 March to 3 April 2026 in Morocco.
