Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Ireland, H.E. Sabah Zita Benson, has paid a courtesy call on the Ga Mantse, His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, at his residence in Accra.
The visit, which took place earlier today, was a gesture of appreciation following the Ga Mantse’s presence and support during a recent Gala Reception held in honour of H.E. Benson and the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, where the High Commissioner was recognised as a Global Diaspora Trailblazer.
During the meeting, discussions centered on strengthening collaboration between the GaDangme people and the United Kingdom, with a focus on cultural exchange, development opportunities, and future partnerships aimed at promoting mutual growth and cooperation.

H.E. Benson described the gala event as an evening of reflection, recognition, and renewed purpose, celebrating leadership and service within the Ghanaian community.
She expressed her deep appreciation to the Ga Mantse and his entourage for gracing the occasion, noting that their presence added cultural significance and dignity to the programme.

The High Commissioner also commended the gala organisers, giving special recognition to Naa Tsotso Soyoo II and all distinguished guests for delivering what she described as a flawlessly executed and memorable event.
