Singer David Adeleke, aka Davido, has revealed that his priorities have evolved following his marriage to long-term partner Chioma Adeleke.
Speaking in a recent episode of The Long Form podcast, Davido said he now prefers staying at home with his family or FaceTiming his wife when he’s on trips, rather than going to a club for leisure.
“Blowing up at a young age with freedom, power and money, I used to be very reckless. I used to go to the club every day.
“But these days, I don’t even go to the clubs. I was in Nigeria for almost two months, and I didn’t go out. I was just at home, having fun.
"I was just chilling in my studio, and inviting people to make barbecue for me. It was fun. And before you know it, it’s 3 am or 4:30 am. I just go home, call my wife, sleep off on FaceTime,” he expressed.
Davido, however, explained that he still goes out for gigs and honour party invitations from close people.
He added that he now prioritises sleep and family time over going out for fun.
