The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has launched a nationwide membership registration exercise as part of efforts to grow and consolidate its grassroots support, introducing a new party register to capture members nationwide.
The acting Director of Elections and Information Technology of the party, Mahdi Jibril, announced the initiative in a Facebook post, indicating that the exercise officially begins today, February 10, and will run until March 30, 2026.
He explained that the registration will be conducted in all party branches nationwide and will be managed at the branch level to ensure transparency and orderly execution.
Branch secretaries will be responsible for administering the process at designated meeting points, where new members can enroll and existing members can update their personal information.
Mr Jibril encouraged party supporters and sympathisers to participate fully in the exercise, noting that maintaining an accurate and expanded membership database is critical to strengthening the party’s organisation and mobilisation capacity ahead of future political engagements.
The registration drive, he added, forms part of the NDC’s wider strategy to reinforce its internal structures and promote greater grassroots involvement across the country.
