Ghana’s Group L World Cup opponents, England, have announced two friendlies in June ahead of the global showpiece.
The Three Lions will face New Zealand on June 6 before taking on Costa Rica four days later, which is the day before the World Cup kicks off.
Before the June friendlies, Thomas Tuchel’s side will also face Uruguay on March 27 and Japan on March 31 as part of their preparations.
England have been drawn in the same group with Ghana, Croatia, and Panama, and are chasing their first major trophy since 1966.
Meanwhile, Ghana will face Austria on March 27 before locking horns with Germany three days later.
The Black Stars will open their campaign against Panama on Wednesday, June 17, before facing England and Croatia on June 23 and 27 respectively.
Head coach Otto Addo has tipped England as favourites to top Group L.
Ghana has been eliminated at the group stage in each of their last two World Cup appearances.
