Head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, has revealed he loses sleep over Antoine Semenyo’s performances for the national team.
The Manchester City forward, despite his rich vein of form for his club, has struggled anytime he’s been with the Black Stars.
His performances have raised lots of questions and concerns, a situation with the coach is also worried about.
“Sometimes, I don’t sleep. I know there were times a lot of people said he was not good enough when we brought him in,” Addo said.
“He was at Bristol City, he went to Bournemouth and now he’s at Manchester City. I think we also have our part in developing him and giving him confidence.
“We are very happy at where he is.”
Semenyo is among the top three scorers in the Premier League this season but that form has not translated to the national team where he has managed only three goals in 32 appearances.
