Residents and visitors are expected to converge at Kyebi this Easter weekend for the 2026 Kyebi Easter Homecoming, a two-day event combining health awareness activities with entertainment and community celebration.
The event, scheduled for April 3 to 4, will open on Friday with a free health screening exercise aimed at promoting preventive healthcare among participants.
Organisers say the initiative is designed to encourage residents and visitors to check their health status and seek early medical advice where necessary.

Activities will continue on Saturday morning with a health walk and float through the principal streets of the town. The exercise is expected to attract a large number of participants, promoting fitness while fostering unity within the community.
The celebrations will climax later that evening with a musical event at Flossyjoes Hotel. Ghanaian highlife stars Akwaboah Jnr and KK Fosu are billed to perform, promising an evening of live music and entertainment.
Organisers say the homecoming aims to blend wellness, culture, and entertainment while drawing attention to Kyebi as a destination for festive gatherings.
They are encouraging the public to take part in the activities, describing the event as an opportunity to reconnect with the community while enjoying a mix of health-focused initiatives and vibrant nightlife.
