In the early hours of Thursday, July 17 at 04:16 am, a Toyota Hiace (GT 1910-14) carrying 16 passengers from Takoradi to Kumasi was involved in an accident at Adansi Kyeaboso.

Within four minutes, the rescue team from the Fomena Fire Station arrived at the scene and swiftly rescued all injured passengers. The victims were immediately transported to St. Bennito Hospital in Adansi Dompoase.

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) commends the Rescue crew for their prompt and life-saving response.
