Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has called on his team to demonstrate 'passion' and play with 'intensity' when they return for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers next month.
Ghana had a disappointing start to the qualifying series of the tournament to be staged in Morocco taking just one point from an available six.
The Black Stars lost to Angola in their opener at the Baba Yara Stadium before being held to a 1-1 draw against Niger. They face Sudan in a double-header in October.
Speaking to African football journalist Micky Junior on the sidelines of the CAF Conference being held in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, Addo called on his side to do better in the next round of games.
"The biggest thing is that we show passion [against Sudan]. This was lacking in our last game against Niger and we have to bring this passion back on the field," said the gaffer.
"Besides all the tactics and quality, we have to show passion, especially defensively, and intensity, to beat this team [Sudan].
"If we show it, I think everything is possible and we can take some points from them."
In Sudan, Ghana will come up against a former coach, Kwesi Appiah, who has had a good start to his tenure as head coach losing just one competitive game.
