The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku, has sent a strong warning to match commissioners whose performance falls below the line, stating that they will "leave us."
Kurt made these remarks during an engagement with matchday officials as part of their training to enhance matchday safety and security protocols on Tuesday.
Massive scrutiny has been directed at the country’s football governing body for not enforcing safety measures at match centers following the death of Asante Kotoko fan Francis Frimpong Pooley.
Pooley was stabbed to death during the Porcupines' clash with Nsoatreman in Nsoatre in Week 19 of Ghana’s top-flight league.

"We'll be very, very fair in assessing your work; Be honest," Kurt said during the engagement.
"Those who fall below the line, unfortunately will leave us. When you hear the discourse in the public space, you would admit that all is not well.
"And if it is that we have the opportunity to cure what is seen not to be well, this is the most opportune time."
Meanwhile, the fatal incident led to the suspension of the division as the Ghana FA met with the 18 Premier League clubs to discuss measures to curb such acts.
Brimah has been identified as the person responsible for Pooley’s death and is currently on the run.
The first team of Kotoko will resume training on Wednesday, February 19, but "will not compete in any official matches" until justice is served.
