Black Stars head coach Otto Addo believes Ghana has a good squad that is capable of competing against any team in the world.
The gaffer has expressed trust in the young team at his disposal ahead of the 2025 Kirin Challenge Cup against Japan on Friday, November 14.
Addo has several experienced heads in his team missing for the Asia tour, forcing the 50-year-old to turn to a relatively young squad for the two games against Japan and South Korea.
Speaking at the press conference ahead of the game against the Samurai Blue, Addo believes his squad has the ability to play against any team.
"We have a lot of young, hungry players on board. We have a team, I think, on bad days, we can struggle, but on good days, we can beat everyone," he said.
"We showed at the last World Cup, at least also that we were close to beating Portugal, we beat South Korea, so I think we have a competitive team and we’re looking forward also to make the next step."
Ghana play Japan at 10:20 am on Friday before facing South Korea four days later.
