President Akufo-Addo is emphasising the need for concerted efforts to tackle terrorism effectively in Africa.
The Ghanaian President stressed that no single country can combat the menace alone, highlighting its devastating consequences for the continent.
Speaking at the ECOWAS' High-Level African Counter-Terrorism Meeting in Abuja, Nigeria, President Akufo-Addo urged all African leaders to unite in the fight against terrorism.

He emphasised that a lackadaisical approach will not succeed and called for full participation from all.
As the immediate past chairman of ECOWAS, President Akufo-Addo emphasised that efforts to combat terrorism should extend beyond mere speeches to concrete actions and commitments.
He stressed the importance of tangible steps to address the issue effectively.
"Terrorism remains one of the most significant challenges facing Africa today and its consequences are felt across the continent, destabilising communities, undermining governance structures and obstructing socio-economic progress," President Akufo-Addo said.
The presence of leaders from Togo, Nigeria, and other neighbouring countries underscored a shared commitment to working together in the fight against terrorism.
