GFA President Kurt Okraku has acknowledged the recent ups and downs in the Black Stars’ performances but believes the team is showing positive signs of improvement.
Ghana went six matches without a victory in the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers – failing to qualify for the first time in two decades.
However, the team has shown promise after back-to-back victories over Chad and Madagascar in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
"The Black Stars have had a not too stable performance," he admitted to Ghana FA media.
"But I think that our call to the entire sporting public to be supportive of the Black Stars has yielded good results. The confidence of the boys seems to be back."
The team is in London, England, for the Unity Cup, which involves Trinidad and Tobago, Nigeria, and Jamaica.
The Black Stars face the Super Eagles on May 28 in their first fixture, with the winner advancing to the final while the loser fights for third place.
