Director-General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), Kofi Osei-Ameyaw, has urged Ghanaians to observe safety protocols in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
In a short release on the global pandemic, Mr Osei-Ameyaw said the whole world has been humbled by the pandemic coronavirus.
“It has equally brought us closer to God our Creator,” he said.
He added: “As Government takes pragmatic steps to address this pandemic, I would like to urge Ghanaians to respect and observe all protocols set out by Government especially Social Distancing. Let's take personal hygiene seriously during and after this pandemic crisis.”
He said God will listen to Ghana’s cry “and heal our land and the rest of the World from Coronavirus.
“Coronavirus has not come to stay,” he is optimistic.
He urged Ghanaians to care for one another, show compassion and spread hope during these difficult moments.
As of Wednesday, March 25, the number of coronavirus cases stands at 93 with four deaths.
