The Ministry of Energy and Green Transition is proud to reaffirm its partnership with the Africa Energy Technology Centre (AETC) for the upcoming Africa Energy Technology Conference (AETC 2025), a groundbreaking event aimed at shaping the future of Africa’s energy landscape.

In a courtesy meeting with the newly appointed Minister of Energy and Green Transition, Dr John A. Jinapor, AETC Founder and President, Emelia Akumah, along with Board member Tony Burkson, engaged in discussions with the Minister, his Deputy Richard Gyan-Mensah( Designate), and the Chief Director Mrs Wilhelmina Asamoah.

The meeting underscored Ghana’s commitment to leading Africa’s energy transformation and positioning itself as the hub for energy technological advancement on the continent.

AETC 2025 stands out as Africa’s first energy technology-focused conference spearheaded by an African woman.

The Ministry of Energy and Green Transition recognises the importance of inclusion and local leadership in addressing Africa’s energy challenges and commends AETC for creating a platform where African-led solutions take center stage.

This aligns with Ghana’s broader vision of fostering innovation and investment in the energy sector.

Mr Jinapor expressed the Ministry’s full support for AETC 2025, emphasising the crucial role the conference will play in shaping Africa’s sustainable energy future.
