The GFA, in July, signed a sponsorship deal, worth GH¢1,600,000 to make Macron the official match ball sponsor for the Ghana Premier League, MTN FA Cup and the National Division One League.
"Macron sports Ghana is here to support the development of sports in Ghana. Macron sports Ghana hereby, presents Five Thousand (5000) footballs as discussed in the sponsorship deal with the Ghana Football Association. We are here today, to present One Thousand Two Hundred (1,200) footballs and Eight Hundred (800) bibs as the first shipment of the sponsorship," Macron official, Alhaji Mutala Haruna said.
He added; "We are very excited to start the new chapter in the development of sports in Ghana."
Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku was delighted at the commitment shown by Macron Ghana to help develop football in the country.
"On behalf of the Ghana Football Association, we are very excited to receive you here today," Okraku said.

"Few weeks ago, we made public your intension to support football in this country and few weeks down the line, you have made a clear statement about your commitment at respecting the contract of engagement between the football Association and yourself.
"We are extremely happy and as we said at the launch, football is all about balls and once we have the opportunity to play football, football will be the ultimate winner.

"We are grateful and we will work together at developing this relationship and we believe that our clubs in the premier league, division one and the clubs competing in the MTN FA cub will be excited at these nice balls and hopefully, we will see quality play throughout the games.
"We are looking forward to receiving more balls and bibs because football, is all about balls."
