Ghana Premier League side Heart of Lions have announced Bashir Hayford as the club’s new coach.
The Kpando-based side parted ways with Fatawu Salifu earlier this month following their struggling start to the season since being promoted.
Lions are the only club without a win in the Premier League this season after 14 round of games.
The club has just eight points from 13 games played, losing five and drawing eight in the top flight since their return.
The appointment of Hayford comes a week week after Salifu’s departure with the club hoping to turn their season around under the former Legon Cities gaffer.
Hayford’s first game will be against his former club, Legon Cities away from home.
